Recycling Handtools
These heavy, bulky handtools (items often forgotten at the back of a shed) have inbuilt second use features. They are generally made using materials that are easy to repair. So they can be used in other parts of the world that have not become as heavily industrialised as the West. Ystrad Tools for Self Reliance supports grassroots development in Africa by providing refurbished sewing machines, tools and training. TFSR works closely with partner organisations in Tanzania to deliver effective aid to artisans in poor communities.
